Kok Kee Wanton Noodles

To be very honest, I was never quite the fan. But seeing all the hype over their reopening, I decided to make yet one more trip this time to try it. The noodles is indeed very springy and eggy, very enjoyable. And as I remembered, that splash of sauce by the owner, was too sweet for my liking. However, a lingering umami stays. 

The soup is indeed sweet, full of the ikan bill is (dried anchovies) flavour. The dumplings, I must admit is one of the best I have had with any Wanton Mee. They are almost HK grade dumplings, where the pork is so juicy and springy! If you are ordering for a couple of friends, it is not that long a wait.
