88 Hong Kong Roast
The chilli is the unique one here. A slight bitterness from ikan billis blended in together with black beans. It goes very well with the sauce they splash on their dishes - a sauce which is slightly herbal with a stronger anise flavour.
Most famous for their Roast Pork, if you are late you may not get to try it. Thinly sliced, it has a crispy skin, a firm fat layer and a juicy lean meat which has a stronger anise flavour. The char siew basically tastes like a chunky bak kwa charred and sweet.
The roast duck has a crispy skin, with firm meat but may be slightly dry in my opinion.
