Li Xin Fishball Noodles @ Food Opera ION

Food Opera at the Ion hosts several famous stalls in once place: Hwa Heng Beef Noodles, Guan Chee Roasts, Riverside Ayam Penyat, and now possibly the longest queue here - Li Xin Fishball Noodles. 

I held my breath when they put tomato ketchup, but it turned out to be great, lending fullness to the sauce. What made it great too were the spicy sambal paste and lots of pork lard oil. Yummy. 

The Fishballs were springy and biting into it, has an uneven consistency that of handmade fish paste. And as opposed to factory made ones, they barely salted these to bring out the freshness of the fish in the paste.
