Sushi Airways

This place is not only sitting out amidst all the Middle Eastern restaurants in Arab St, it's choice of deco leaves one scratching their heads. Located on the second floor, you walk up into a part cabin part american diner vibe.

But I have to say, the food is of amazing quality and strangely affordable! And on promotion, the Moriawase set was only $88+! Getting an Appetiser, the Sashimi Moriawase, and a Makimono.

Sashimi Moriawase
A plate of freshness, firm and sweet raw sashimi... Plenty - Tai; Hamachi; Iwashi; Toro; Cod and Salmon Smelt.

Salmon Tataki

Lobster Mango Roll
Mangoes were very sweet, but seemed to be in the way of the Lobster and the Rice.

Ankimo - Monkfish Liver
Very rare to find this in average Japanese restaurants. The Foie Gras of the sea, the monstrous looking Monkfish produces such a fatty liver. Here for only $12!

Ebi Fry
The tempura is breaded and crispy. Fried but with a light oil.

Awabi No Shiokawa (Salted Abalone) & Tako Wasabi
Apart from the usual Tako Wasabi, I have not tried this raw Abalone salted in a fermented bean paste. Flavourful with a bite, would go well with a dry Sake!
