Kanshoku - Black Truffle Ramen @ Metropolis

Walked past this place a dozen times whenever I head to the gym upstairs. Was finally brought here to try this Ramen. It is said to be known for its Black Truffle Ramen ($16.90). Being a lover of anything Ramen, and Truffle, we decided to give this a go. 

My preconception of Ramen has always been a brothy soup base. Hence when this bowl came out I was surprised. This is the first dry Ramen I tried, and its COLD! We said it tastes almost like Angelhair Truffle Pasta. 

The Char Siew is braised and seared well, though still trying to reconcile this to tossed Ramen noodles on heavy truffle oil. Its Ajitama Egg ($2.00) is done well too, with its flavour seeped through.
