Leong Kee Bak Kut Teh [Moved]
Different from the popular peppery version that most Singaporeans are used to, this is more similar to the Malaysian style of Bak Kut Teh. The first difference you observe is of course that it is served in a fired Claypot, but it is the soup base that sets it apart from the rest.
A rich herbal broth, enhanced by the essence of the pork and the tau kee (beancurd skin), is perfect for that Sunday morning breakfast with the whole family. Or during those rainy days, or those nauseating mornings of a hangover, this soup when savoured warms the heart right down to the stomach. Add scoops of raw garlic for added effect (Pictured).
