Under the Bridge Crab - Hong Kong

Even after staying in Hong Kong some years back, I never had the chance to try this "local delicacy". I guess its how we Singaporeans do not have Chilli Crabs everyday either. But this time, I was back in Hong Kong for a Gourmet food hunt - 3 Star Michelin "Sushi Shikon" the evening before, and 2 Star Michelin "Amber".

The famous Typhoon Shelter Crab is a local dish, now with varying Spice levels to accommodate to tourists. Crabs stir fried with deep fried Garlic, White and Black Peppers. A very savoury and rich dish - great with a cold beer!

A few other of their signature dishes we tried, but weren't anything to shout out for. Typical Tse Char dishes such as the "Mui Fan", stir fried Venison with Spring Onions etc... In my opinion, you'd be better off with the Seafood stalls along Temple Street Market or Sai Kung.
