Kallang Cantonese Live Prawn Noodles

We came on our Prawn Mee pilgrimage searching for the next star. And we found it here in Old Airport Road where 2 other superstars already exist - Whitley & Albert Prawn Noodles. However, when I arrived, there was absolutely no queue and every other stall in this Hawker was snaking! Unfazed, we went ahead to order the Soup and the Dry versions. 

The Prawns, fished right out of the tank, were cooked effortlessly to perfection! You know when the shells slips right off. They were firm, almost crunchy, and incredibly sweet! And for $10, auntie gave me 5 huge whole prawns! You cannot find a more generous serving anywhere else in Singapore! 

The Soup version was lighter than the the bowl of Broth that comes with a Dry version. But depending on the weather and your craving, both were savoury and exceptional. I would definitely come back just for these underpriced Big Prawns!
