Tamashii @ North Bridge

I was quite disappointed that this place is no longer a Robatayaki concept. Perhaps its a post-CoVid measure? But the ambience was still nice and zen... Surprised to see a younger clientele here. The food is rather pricey but at least the quality of the dishes were good.

---------

A5 Saga Wagyu Chazuke
This was by far the highlight of the dinner. A5 slices on top on rice, served raw to allow you to admire the marbling. Then you'd pour the broth over it to transform it into a Chazuke (porridge).

Minced Chicken. Onsen Egg. Crispy Skin. ($18) This is likened to a Tsukune with the soft bones mixed in great when dipped in the soft boiled eggs.

Mille-Feuille Sakura Pork Loin Katsu. Cheddar Cheese. ($32)
An interesting way to infuse cheese into the katsu by layering it "Mille-Feuille".

Assorted Sashimi. ($98)
The sashimi platter was fresh but not quite sure if it warranted a hundred bucks.

Dry A4 Saga Gyu Sukiyaki. Mixed Mushrooms. Raw Egg Yolk. ($58)
This sukiyaki was very tasty especially when mixed in with the egg and mushrooms beneath. I'd order this again.

Bluefin Tuna Cheeks Kama Bincho Grilled
Was totally overcooked and had almost nothing left on the cheek.
