Kikanbo Ramen - Tokyo
A queue will always be outside of this Ramen store. Managed to find this randomly via Google maps. It says you have to buy a ticket before you join the queue, but you can do so actually as you get closer to the door (in case you change your mind).
They seem to be known for their fiery Ramen, they even sell their own brand of chilli powder. I went for the normal spice. The broth was really savoury and fragrant. It was a flash fry of garlic and Bean sprouts on a wok before dousing it with the base tonkutsu broth.
The Charsiu was extremely well marinated, a hint of five spice and star anise. But with all this richness, the entire bowl did prove to be a tad salty for my liking. The noodles were thick and chewy but lacked springiness.
