Koung’s Wanton Mee

They used to be at Geyland Lor 13, but have moved to 205 Sims Ave, opposite the Singapore Badminton Hall or Lor 21. At 1030am, I was one of the first few customers. I was wondering why there wasn’t a queue. After me, a long queue started to form. 

Their Char Siew is made by them, slightly sweet and charred. But what really did it for me was the noodles, doused in Pork Lard oil. It made it sleek and fragrant with each slurp. The sauce was an old school ketchup based. I wanted to try the original flavour before requesting for my preferred dark sauce variant.
