Char had since relocated, to Jalan Besar, right across the old location of Eminent Plaza. Housed in the 4 storey conservation shophouse, owned by The Lee Clan Association.
Taking up two stories, the lower floor high ceiling seating caters to lunch crowds and large table settings. Upstairs sees a more loungy area to cater to its Craft Beer on Tap offering.

Trying out their Set Lunch menu, you have a choice of Three different meats - Char Siew; Roast Pork Belly; Soya Sauce Chicken. Whilst the Roast Pork seems mediocre, the Char Siew has to be one of the fattiest I have had. Its sauce, different from the local variant, is bitter sweet (no pun intended). Best washed down with a beer or a cider.
