Tantric Thai - Orchard Towers

This place is truly a hidden gem! And it seems that only the people who work around the area would know about this shop hidden around the deep corner of the 3rd storey of Orchard Towers. It's name on its own is already misleading. Most people would know about Jane's Thai on the 4th storey - thanks to Michelle who saved me from the 4th floor. 

If you do not come early for lunch, you would have to stand in waiting. Office workers flock here for the set lunches, with the most popular being the Pork Belly Rice and the Basil Chicken Rice. 

I wanted to try a variety of their dishes, so for the two of us, I ordered these three dishes. The first, a Spicy Pork Strip was recommended by them. With the consistency and taste similar to Butter Chicken, it was flavourful but a tad salty. Good with rice though. 

Its Green Curry Chicken was a bit sweet than what I would have liked but tasty nonetheless. Generous with its meat but a bit more eggplants would have been nice. 

The clear Tom Yum soup is Spicy, and very Sour. Good for a sobering Soup, or as a Hangover cure! Comes with Fish, Prawns Mushrooms and several very cheap fishballs...
