Happy Fish Bistro @ HK

Finally I get to feast like a local, in a corner shop.
Barely more than 5 tables cramped into a small space, typical HK "interior design", and a TV showing the evening's drama serial is a must!

First up is the stir fried chicken, in yellow oil. Meat is tender and springy, control of fire is proficient. Then came the fish with spring onion and ginger. The dish is dry, as compared to the Singaporean version. And so is the texture of the fish on the outside, but yet moist and tasty on the inside. The food is fairly salty i must admit, but with a bowl of white rice and a "bowl of beer", it becomes perfect!

The clams were a bit disappointing though. The bell peppers and onions were sweet and fresh, but the clams weren't really cooked properly i guess. Half of the plate's clams were closed shut still. Could do with a bit more spice.
